From the 26th of January until the 6th of February the photographic exhibition On the Ganges Riverbank was displayed at the Embassy of India in Rome. Besides the photos by Alain Daniélou and Raymond Burnier shot between the 1935 and the 1955, a selection of full colour photos of Varanasi by the Honorary President Jacques Cloarec was exceptionally added to the show in occasion of the 66th Republic Day of India.
