Both of us find your writing, in so many different ways, to be rare in its clarity and simplicity. As a philosopher and writer you never deny the responsibilities of communicating that which is true or beautiful, even if those truths are uncomfortable and even if that beauty sharpens the edges of ugliness and falsehood or our own culture and times. The eyes in which you see the world are never moralising or gauzed with fanciful, prejudicial, or self serving unrealities. Somehow your clarity in viewing the perceivable world allows the presence of the unseen world to be felt ever so strongly.
